Webster Water Ski Collective Hosts Inspiring Adaptive Ski Event with Team Hoyt New England  and Aqua Riders of Holland in Holland, Massachusetts

Holland, Massachusetts – June 13, 2023 – Webster Water Ski Collective is proud to announce its upcoming Adaptive Ski event in collaboration with Team Hoyt New England and the Aqua Riders of Holland on June 21, 2023.  This inspirational event will take place at Hamilton Reservoir in Holland, Massachusetts, and promises to be a day filled with excitement, inclusion, and the celebration of human potential.   26 participants with various disabilities, including Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Bifida, Autism,  Multiple Sclerosis and more will have the opportunity to water ski with trained instructors and volunteers on the same pond that Dick and Rick Hoyt used to train for their triathlons.   

The Webster Water Ski Collective is a renowned organization dedicated to promoting water skiing and fostering a sense of community among water sports enthusiasts. Recognizing the importance of inclusivity and accessibility, the collective has partnered with Team Hoyt New England, a nonprofit organization that supports individuals with disabilities, to host this groundbreaking event.

Team Hoyt New England, established in 2013, is one of 11 non profit Team Hoyt chapters approved by Dick and Rick Hoyt, iconic father-son duo, who have been an inspiration to millions worldwide.  Team Hoyt New England aims to empower individuals with disabilities by providing them opportunities to participate in athletic events and experience the thrill of competition.  The Team Hoyt motto “Yes You Can” has become an inspiration to individuals with disabilities all over the world.

The Adaptive Ski event on June 21st will feature water skiing demonstrations, adaptive skiing clinics, and interactive activities for participants of all abilities. Water skiers of different skill levels, including individuals with physical disabilities, will showcase their talent and determination on the crystal-clear waters of Hamilton Reservoir.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet and learn more about inclusive sports with members of both the Webster Water Ski Collective and Team Hoyt New England.

The Adaptive Ski event is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend and support the participants. Spectators will witness the incredible resilience and determination displayed by the adaptive skiers, leaving them inspired and with a renewed sense of the human spirit.

About the Aqua Riders of Holland:  The Aqua Riders of Holland are a non-profit, family oriented, competitive water ski show team located in Holland, MA. We volunteer our time and talents and work together as a team to put on incredible water ski shows for everyone to watch!
