On Friday, June 25th we hosted our 2nd Annual Any Age, Any Disability Adaptive Ski Event at Point Breeze in Webster.
The Leaps Of Faith Adaptive skiers from Sandy Hook joined us to provide their assistance and equipment for this amazing day that took 25 skiers with a wide range of disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, Blindness, Autism, Downs Syndrome, Muscular Atrophy and more out for a fun day on the water.
Each skier got two great runs with the help of our members, volunteers and LOF staff. We also had a great lunch provided by Point Breeze, along with Cookies from Jess’ Sweet and Treats and doughnuts from Dippin’ Doughnuts! We all had great big smiles on our faces and can’t wait to do it again in August!
Special Thanks to all our amazing sponsors that helped made this happen:
