August 4, 2023, Shrewsbury, MA – The Webster Water Ski Collective is delighted to announce the highly anticipated Lake Quinsigamond Adaptive Ski Day, set to take place on August 9, 2023, at the picturesque Donahue Rowing Center. This exciting event will offer an inclusive and exhilarating experience, highlighting adaptive water skiing and showcasing the talents of athletes with diverse abilities.

The Lake Quinsigamond Adaptive Ski Day is a celebration of resilience, camaraderie, and the power of adaptive sports to bring people together. The event will bring athletes, families, volunteers, and the community at large for a day of fun-filled activities on the water. Attendees can expect a heartwarming display of determination and skill as adaptive skiers demonstrate their passion for the sport.

This special day will feature athletes with physical and sensory impairments showcasing their adaptability and prowess on water skis, inspiring spectators of all ages.

The Lake Quinsigamond Adaptive Ski Day is more than just a display of talent; it’s an opportunity for individuals with diverse abilities to engage in water sports, promoting inclusivity and breaking down barriers. The Webster Water Ski Collective aims to foster a sense of belonging and empowerment for all participants, irrespective of their limitations.

The event will be open to the public, and spectators can cheer on the athletes and learn more about the Adaptive Ski Program as well as other programs run by the Webster Water Ski Collective, including its competition team that just made an outstanding showing at the AWSA Eastern Regionals last weekend.  Additionally, there will be opportunities to interact with the athletes, coaches, and organizers, allowing the community to learn more about adaptive water skiing and its numerous benefits.
