Glen Echo Lake – Learn to Ski/Season Kickoff!

Event Date:

June 5, 2021

Event Time:

8:30 am

Event Location:

Webster Water Ski - Glen Echo Chapter

On Saturday, June 5th we will be having our first Learn to Ski and our Kickoff to the 2021 season at Glen Echo Lake.

This event is for members of the Webster Water Ski Collective,  residents of Glen Echo Lake, and former members of the Glen Echo skiers only.     It is NOT for the general public – we will be doing a one for the General Public in July, and drop-ins are welcome on Sundays.

The event will begin at 8:30 with a safety meeting and an outline of how the day will work.    The goal is to be on the water for 9am and ski till noon.

Sorry, this event is expired and no longer available.

Event FAQs

What do I need to bring?
Bring your bathing suits, towels and a great attitude. The Collective will provide the skis, ropes, lifejackets and the boats. Although if you have your own equipment, we encourage you to bring it.
I don't live on Glen Echo, can I come and ski?
Unfortunately, we are restricting this to residents and family of residents of Glen Echo Lake and/or past members of the Glen Echo Skiers. The Lake is private to residents only, and the objective of this event is to reform the Glen Echo skiers as a ski club for the residents.

Current collective members (Webster Branch) may also participate, as we are under the same group umbrella.

We will be doing other "for public" Learn to Ski events in the summer in Webster. Drop Ins will also be allowed for training on Sundays at Point Breeze in Webster as well.
