Its Back! We are once again partnering with the Leaps of Faith (LOF) Adaptive skiers to give kids and adults with disabilities the chance to ski and enjoy a great day on the water with us. The theme is “Any Disability, Any Age” – as we will help any age group and any disability get on the water and learn how to water ski using specialized equipment from licensed instructors.
The LOF (Leaps of Faith) Skiers out of Sandy Hook has been teaching and assisting people with disabilities to “Soar beyond their boundaries” by teaching and assisting in both water and snow skiing through events such as this for the past 27 years. Founded by champion jumper Joel Zeisler in 1992, the LOF skiers has continued to grow and now co-hosts events like this all throughout the North East.
If you joined us last year, you know how much fun this was for all involved! It really was our flagship event!
The event WILL be limited to 24 (ish) skiers, with a separate morning and afternoon session. A $30 refundable deposit will be required to hold your spot (the event itself is FREE). The Event will take place at Point Breeze Marina, home of the Webster Water Ski Collective.
SKIERS: After you pay the REFUNDABLE deposit for the event – please fill out the registration form with emergency contact information here: http://websterwaterski.org/adaptive-ski-event-registration-form/
