Lots of Smiles at June 25th Adaptive Ski Event at Point Breeze

On Friday, June 25th we hosted our 2nd Annual Any Age, Any Disability Adaptive Ski Event at Point Breeze in Webster.

The Leaps Of Faith Adaptive skiers from Sandy Hook joined us to provide their assistance and equipment for this amazing day that took 25 skiers with a wide range of disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, Blindness, Autism, Downs Syndrome, Muscular Atrophy and more out for a fun day on the water.

Any Disability Any Age – Adaptive Water Ski Event returns to Central Mass.

Events on Webster Lake and Lake Quinsigamond this summer will bring water skiing to the disabled community. 

Worcester, MA – June 2021 –  Adaptive water skiing returns to Central Massachusetts this summer with the “Any Disability, Any Age” event at Point Breeze Restaurant and Marina in Webster on Friday, June 25th and at the Donahue Rowing Center on Lake Quinsigamond in Shrewsbury on Tuesday, August 17th. Adaptive Ski Day a huge success

We want to thank everyone that came to our first annual Adaptive Ski Event at Point Breeze on Thursday.  24 skiers, with all kids of various disabilities got to go skiing for at least two turns during the event. We are still smiling and on a emotional high, and we can’t wait to do it again next year.

Charlton resident Ryan DesRoches has been water skiing for almost 30 years, and has had many exhilarating runs on local lakes and ponds, but few compared to the experience he had last summer while volunteering with the Leaps of Faith Adaptive Skiers.

LOF, which is based in Sandy Hook, Connecticut and was founded in 1992, provides recreational and competitive water (and snow) skiing opportunities for children and adults with disabilities.
